In an effort to show that Washington, DC, can outliberal New York City (which has eight DL chapters), we’re proud to announce eight new chapters to supplement the two we already have in DC and increase our geographic reach:

- Tuesday Drinking Liberally, 6:30-9:30pm every Tuesday at Mimi’s American Bistro, 2120 P St NW
- Friday Drinking Liberally, 6:30-10:30pm every Friday at Odeon Cafe, 1714 Connecticut Ave NW
- Saturday Drinking Liberally, 5:30-11:30pm every Saturday at Bistrot Du Coin, 1738 Connecticut Ave NW
- Sunday Drinking Liberally, 12:30-8:30pm every Sunday at Thai Chef, 1712 Connecticut Ave NW
- Monday Morning Drinking Liberally, 7:30-9:30am every Monday at Starbucks, 1700 Connecticut Ave and 2101 P St NW
- Lunchtime Drinking Liberally, 12-2pm every Wednesday at Chipotle, 1639 Connecticut Ave NW
- All-Night Drinking Liberally, 8pm-8am every night at the Dupont Circle fountain (bring your own paper bag)
Today is April Fool’s Day, of course, but seriously, if you’re interested in having a chapter somewhere other than Dupont Circle (say, Capitol Hill or Silver Spring or Clarendon or Bethesda or Old Town Alexandria), post a comment and maybe you’ll be able to recruit a critical mass. Also post something in the DC forum on the national DL site. It’s really not that difficult to be a chapter organizer and bring the joy of Drinking Liberally to new geographic areas.
