New DC Drinking Liberally Chapters

In an effort to show that Washington, DC, can outliberal New York City (which has eight DL chapters), we’re proud to announce eight new chapters to supplement the two we already have in DC and increase our geographic reach:

Today is April Fool’s Day, of course, but seriously, if you’re interested in having a chapter somewhere other than Dupont Circle (say, Capitol Hill or Silver Spring or Clarendon or Bethesda or Old Town Alexandria), post a comment and maybe you’ll be able to recruit a critical mass. Also post something in the DC forum on the national DL site. It’s really not that difficult to be a chapter organizer and bring the joy of Drinking Liberally to new geographic areas.

  1. This is great! I’m going to all of them. Should we change the name to Drinking Excessively?

Seriously, I didn’t know you so funny, Keith.
