Atrios is, of course, kidding when he says the primary race will all boil down to what happens in Pennsylvania. He is kidding, isn’t he?

With Sens. Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton almost even in delegate counts, the two Democratic presidential candidates will focus on several weekend contests and then a trio of primaries in the Washington area next Tuesday.
So, whose turn is it to throw a party?

If I hear one more time that the Virginia and Maryland primaries are taking place in ‘the Washington/DC area,’ my head is gonna explode.

Yes, Paul, I’ve been hoping that “Chesapeake primary” would catch on rather than the more DC-focused “Potomac primary”, but I think the alliteration is winning. At least the horrible name “Beltway primary” seems to have fizzled.
